S-OIL announced on the 9th that it had donated 25.7 million won to the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea on the 8th for the 'S-Oil Bonus Points' donation collected together with consumers this year.
The donation delivered on this day was prepared by adding the same amount to the bonus points accumulated by 6,900 S-Oil membership members when they paid for fueling and recharging.
The funds raised by S-Oil and consumers are used to help teenagers who have to leave childcare facilities at the age of 18 in accordance with the Child Welfare Act to stand alone.
Since 2005, S-Oil has been conducting the 'Point Donation Campaign' in which customers donate bonus points accumulated read more when paying for fuel to help neighbors.
